Meet Simone

I’m an independent children’s Speech and Language Therapist and the founder of Bloom Speech and Language Therapy.

I have experience supporting children and young people across homes, nurseries, mainstream and specialist schools, and residential settings. I work with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs, including children who use AAC and children with complex communication profiles.

My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed and child-centred. Sessions are shaped around each child’s communication style, interests, strengths and individual way of learning. I believe therapy works best when children feel safe, understood and able to be themselves.

I also work closely with families, education staff and other professionals so that helpful communication strategies can become part of everyday life.

Gentle & Individual

Every child communicates differently. My role is to understand what communication means for your child, recognise their strengths and identify the support that may help them participate, connect and express themselves with greater confidence.

The Bloom Approach

Affirming & Inclusive

Communication differences are understood and respected. Therapy focuses on meaningful participation, connection and self-advocacy.

Working Together

I work collaboratively with families, schools and other professionals so that helpful strategies can be used naturally throughout everyday life, helping progress feel practical and sustainable.
